8. Continued safeguarding and support

 

Whilst Holte pupils and staff will not be onsite at all times we are following Birmingham and the Department for Education’s            guidance on how we can ensure our pupils are Safe. There will be contact made with all vulnerable groups to ensure pupils are        well.

   • Year Managers and Year Coordinators will contact pupils once a week to ensure that they can access resources and to ensure that they are safe and well.

   • Pupils who are classed as ‘vulnerable’ during the school closure will be contacted by the school DSLs once a week.

   • If a student is on the SEND register they will be contacted daily by a TA key contact to ensure they understand the learning and are able to connect. The SENCo will also make regular contact with SEND pupils and relevant external agencies.

Parents and pupils may use Whisper to raise any safeguarding concerns 24hrs a day, 7 days a week. The schools main email address is This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and this will be monitored during school hours (8:30-3:30pm).

If parents or children have a safeguarding concern and need support then you should contact;
